From her joyous eyes a twinkle gleams.
The gladness of her greeting is gold without alloy.
A sportsman, a scholar, an all around good fellow.

She has a heart that's soft, a heart that's kind, a heart
that's sound and free.
Earnestness is only the passport to the satisfaction of life.
I would rather sit on a pumpkin, and have it all to myself,
than to be crowded on a velvet cushion.

People are more fun than anybody.
Maiden with the deep brown eyes, like the dusk in
evening skies.
The highest compact we can make with our fellow is,
let there be truth between us two forevermore.

Propriety of manners and consideration for others
are the two main characteristics of a gentleman.
For they can conquer who believe they can.
A little nonsense now and then is relished by the best of men.

Sweet thoughts are mirror'd in her face and every motion
is grace.
I am gentle, I am shy, there is mischief in my eye.
Did ye not hear it? T'was the car rattling o'er the
stony street.

Enthusiasm is the genius of sincerity, and truth
accomplishes no victories without it.
Dancing is life itself.
Mother, I really do try my best.

Earnestness is enthusiasm tempered by reason.
A soft light tone, and low.
People are more fun than anybody

The power of thought, the magic of the mind.
Patience and gentleness is power.
Where your treasure is, there will be your heart also.

There is a laughing devil in your grin.
The better part of value is discretion.
Blushing is the color of virtue.

What this country needs is a good five-cent cigar.
In time take time while time doth last,
for time is no time when time is past.
Behold, I do not give lectures or a little charity,
for when I give, I give myself.

The maiden smiled with eyes over-running with laughter.
'Tis the wisest man who can blend wisdom with a fine
sense of humor.
No legacy is so rich as dependability.

Let us have mirth and laughter forevermore.
Willing she is and eager to please; what other virtues
are better than these?
Follow pleasure, and pleasure will follow you.

Such sweet compulsion doth in music lie.
